It does meet all my standards of a great autograph.

I picked up a couple of other signed items from that same collection, including another Emmylou album that I will post on this blog. It's not as nice as yours, but it doesn't say "Bob" on it, so it made more sense for me to own. I think I paid $3 for it!Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18201456700925939354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8760224191373220889.post-71963544237554843312010-02-25T13:25:50.790-08:002010-02-25T13:25:50.790-08:00The only autographed LP I have is a gift from Mike...The only autographed LP I have is a gift from Mike - it is Emmylou Harris's "Elite Hotel", warmly addressed "To Bob" - regrettably the Bob in question is not me. It does however adhere to most of the rules outlined here for a good autograph. The cover design is a repeated flower pattern border that takes about 1/3rd of the area, the remainder is a photo with plenty of light-colored background for a perfectly placed signature; a greeting "Sweet Dreams" that is not too corny - makes enough sense as a friendly sentiment and, of course, is a song title on the LP - no date, a nice thick (but not too thick) sharpie line, the signature itself is a fantastic bold hieroglyph with no discernible letters; overall a very nice artifact - thanks Mike!Bob Bannisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04543970222831915315noreply@blogger.com
